Kidderminster Beaver Scouts
Beaver Scouts are young people, boys and girls, usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.
In Kidderminster District there are twelve Beaver Scout Colonies. We meet together for joint activities several times a year. This might be for competing on cycles around the Rhydd woods – known as the 'Cyclocross' or for Fun or Badge Days. These District activities give the Beavers opportunities to meet to make new friends and to understand that there are lots of beavers in the District – not just in their group.
One thing we all have in common is that we have fun!
